Product Description

Favia speciosa is one of the most common corals in the Faviidae family, and is widespread in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Like other corals, Favia speciosa lives in colonies that consist of many small, anemone-like animals known as polyps. Colonies of Favia speciosa usually form large domes that vary in colour from pale grey to green or brown. As in most other corals, the polyps of Favia speciosa secrete hard skeletons, which eventually build up and help to form reefs.
