Crab, Teddy Bear

Product Description

Product Description

The Teddy Bear Crab, Polydectus sp., has quite the unique body type. It is short and squat and looks like its covered in fur. It is not considered reef safe and can be an opportunistic feeder that should not be housed with sessile inverts or vulnerable corals. They will feed primarily on frozen brine and mysis shrimp, krill, and high quality flakes. The Teddy Bear Crab, despite its name, is not friendly and shouldn't be housed with other crabs, either. They thrive best in tanks with plenty of live rock.
